10 FEBRUARY 2026

6 days left to buy EARLY BIRD and COMMUNITY tickets! Offer ends Sunday 15th February.

Greetings,

We’ll keep it short today. We have an update on speakers (see below), the fabulous GROUNDED dinner tickets go on sale on Friday and the Early Bird and Community ticket offer ends on Sunday.

We extended the discounted ticket offer by two weeks in support of those affected by the recent fires in Victoria, including the GROUNDED Festival host farm, Yan Yan Gurt West and neighbour, Bambra Agroforestry Farm, run by agroforestry expert, Rowan Reid. We reported on this in last week’s newsletter and profiled the GROUNDED speakers who’ll be addressing it, it’s going to be a fascinating discussion.

SPEAKER UPDATE

GROUNDED brings incredible depth of knowledge and experience together for two days of fearless engagement with the what, how and why of building better farming and food systems. View the speaker list here.

The programme is starting to gel with some fascinating themes taking shape. For example…

  • How can grazing change the world?
  • Can we fight fire with fire?
  • Can climate-friendly farming be profitable?
  • What food did the world forget and why?
  • What does healthy soil sound like?
  • How can Natural Capital Accounting work for farmers?
  • What do fish and sheep farming have in common?

And so, so much more.

Over the two days, speakers will cover over 50 topics including;

  • soil health
  • farming for resilience
  • landscape hydration
  • regenerative agroforestry
  • vertical farming models
  • farm succession
  • young farmer futures
  • carbon and biodiversity credits
  • de-risking farms
  • food distribution systems
  • nutrition and microbiology

And that’s just the scheduled presentations and walkshops. Who knows where they’ll go in the panels, or over a beer at the bar or chatting in the queue for lunch or the loo…

Which, as any festival-goer knows, is often where the most interesting conversations and connections happen. Gotta be there in person, folks!
